Who am I kidding with “Us”?  It’s just me.  I’ve been operating fulltime as “Michael Higgins Photography” since 1994, but I’ve been a photographer since 1985.  I am self-taught, with support and guidance from some wonderfully talented people. I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America, and attend many training seminars in a wide range of photographic fields.

Photography is my passion and my greatest joy is capturing a beautiful image.  I take great pride in my work and am gratified knowing that I have many very satisfied clients.

My beautiful wife Barbara and I have two wonderful children and enjoy living in historic Charlottesville, Virginia.
